KIVA BUSINESS LOANS
Kiva, a crowdlending platform with which LISC has a partnership, offers 0% loans that are great for small businesses with a broad social network. LISC can match loans from the crowd dollar for dollar up to $15,000. For more information email kiva@kheprw.org
$500 MATCHING GRANT
The Small Business Relief Initiative was started by GoFundMe, Yelp, and Intuit QuickBooks who each donated $500,000 to the Fund. The Small Business Relief Fund will be issuing $500 matching grants to qualifying businesses that raise at least $500 on GoFundMe.
BUSINESS LOANS
The Indy Chamber has created a Rapid Response Loan Fund that is an affordable option for loans of $1,000-$25,000. For loans greater than $25k they have information about how to apply for an SBA emergency loan.
$5,000 MINORITY, IMMIGRANT, AND WOMEN-OWNED BUSINESS GRANT
With financial support from the Indianapolis Foundation and Regions Bank, LISC is offering $5,000 grants to help minority, immigrant or women-owned small businesses impacted by COVID-19. Also available to undocumented business owners. Eligibility is limited to minority, immigrant or women-owned businesses with 1-10 employees that have been impacted by COVID-19.
ELEVATE BUSINESS GRANT
Elevate is a small business grant program that assists the growth and development of small businesses, their workforce, and the communities where they are located. Your customers can use up to $10,000 for working capital and up to $20,000 for capital expenditures, workforce training, or a variety of other needs to get the boost that they need.
Businesses must be sponsored by FHLBank Indianapolis member bank (Member Directory). In Indianapolis these include: Old National and National Bank of Indianapolis.
ARTISTS
$500 GRANTS
The Indy Arts & Culture COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund was created for individuals working in the arts sector and impacted by the current public health crisis. Primary concern is for the health and well being of individuals: specifically independent artists and staff working for small-to-midsize nonprofit arts and cultural organizations. This fund will provide rapid response $500 grants to help bridge the severe lost wages that make many in our creative community vulnerable.
$1000 GRANT FOR EXPERIMENTAL ARTISTS
The Foundation for Contemporary Arts is creating a temporary fund to meet the needs of experimental artists who have been impacted by the economic fallout from postponed or canceled performances and exhibitions. If you are unsure about whether your work is experimental, you can see other artists we have supported on our Instagram and our website. The Foundation will disburse $1,000 grants to artists who have had performances or exhibitions canceled or postponed because of the COVID-19 virus.

FOOD ACCESS & FARMER SUPPORT
EMERGENCY FOOD DELIVERY
The MLK Community Center has organized food donations and volunteers to deliver emergency groceries. If you would like to sign up visit you will need to visit their website at the link below and fill out the form BEFORE 10AM each day you need to recieve groceries. Volunteer opportunities are also available through the link below.
FOOD PANTRIES
Due to Covid-19 many food pantries have closed, changed their hours and gone to pick-up/drive through. Indy Hunger Network is keeping an updated list of pantries that are open and their new hours.
FREE MEALS FOR STUDENTS & ADULTS
IPS and other school districts are serving free meals throughout the week to youth age 18 and younger. Indy Parks & Second Helpings are providing free meals for youth 18 and under and sack lunches to adults at parks around Marion county.
PURCHASE PRODUCE FROM FARMERS
Kheprw's food cooperative CCFI plans to continue providing shares of produce ($20 for a bag) on the 2nd Saturday of each month through a curb-side pick-up to continue supporting farmers and providing our community with a minimal-contact source of fresh food. EVICTIONS & FORECLOSURES ON HOLD
Through the executive order issued by Governor Eric Holcomb, all evictions and foreclosures have been put on hold until later this spring. If your landlord tries to move you out without a court order, locks you out, or cuts off your utilities—you may have a legal claim. UTILITY ASSISTANCE & LOW-COST INTERNET OPTIONS
The City of Indianapolis has created a page of resources on utility support. Currently there is a state-wide order from Governor Eric Holcomb that prevents essential utilities from disconnection for residential customers including gas, water, electric, internet and telephone. Citizens is currently working with customers to reconnect their water, taking whatever payment a customer can make and supplementing with grant funding. Additionally Comcast, Spectrum and AT&T are offering new customers free service for two months and low-cost internet options. Click below for more information.
