Internship Details


The KI Internship program is for middle and high school students looking to grow and develop as leaders and critical thinkers and gain skills in eSTEAM (Entrepreneurship, Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math). It is a year-round internship and takes place after-school and on weekends.

Each intern has an area of mastery which they hone their skills in. The 3 focus areas are Technology, Urban Agriculture and Environment.


Technology Interns

Students will gain skills in videography (shooting and editing video), 3D printing and/or coding.

Urban Agriculture Interns

Students will gain skills in the science of soil, aquaponics and the business of growing and selling produce.

Environment Interns

Students will learn about issues of environmental justice in Indianapolis and beyond, including the science of lead in soil and groundwater contamination and ideas for sustainable development.
